SEATTLE, WA -- June 1, 2008
PAML received the 2007 Award of Excellence in Healthcare Quality from Qualis Health at the annual Northwest Patient Safety Conference held in Seattle on June 12, 2008.
Qualis, Washington State’s quality improvement organization specializing in the oversight of quality of healthcare, selected PAML for its outstanding work in middleware solutions.
“We are thrilled to be recognized for our work in middleware solutions,” said Rosalee Allan, chief operating officer of PAML. “We’re the first ancillary organization to receive this honor. We strive hard to use our outreach logistics and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to improve service and patient safety.”
PAML was recognized for their automated key processes to track client inquiries, logistics information and quality assurance data. This program has resulted in improved consistency and timeliness in supplying test results to providers.
Each year, Qualis Health presents a number of awards to organizations who have made significant contributions to healthcare quality.
The Award of Excellence recognizes accomplishments that have resulted in long-term and lasting changes for the public good. Winners of the Qualis awards have demonstrated leadership and vision in improving healthcare practices, reflecting the very best in healthcare quality improvement.
The nominations were evaluated by a group of eleven judges, including representatives of healthcare professional groups and trade associations.
