PAML's cytogenetics lab offers a comprehensive test menu for cytogenetics and FISH (fluorescent in situ hybridization) for all tissue types The lab has extensive experience with both constitutional and neoplastic diagnostic methodology, including hematologic malignancies and solid tumors.
FISH (fluorescent in situ hybridization) is a molecular cytogenetic technology that uses fluorescently labeled DNA probes to detect alterations of chromosome structure that are generally below the level of resolution of the metaphase chromosome. It has applications in both constitutional and neoplastic disorders and PAML has a broad menu of FISH assays to choose from.
