PAML, one of the nation’s leading clinical reference laboratories, today announced that TriHealth, one of the top integrated healthcare systems in Cincinnati, Ohio, has selected PAML as their primary reference laboratory. Through this arrangement, TriHealth will have access to PAML’s broad spectrum of esoteric tests, nationally recognized technical expertise and state-of-the-art connectivity solutions.
TriHealth is a full-service, not-for-profit health system providing clinical, educational, preventive and social programs. TriHealth is the 5th largest employer in the greater Cincinnati region, with 11,400 employees. The healthcare system encompasses four hospitals, three ambulatory networks and one research institute. The hospitals include Bethesda North Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, Bethesda Butler Hospital and TriHealth Evendale Hospital. The ambulatory facilities include Bethesda Arrow Springs, Good Samaritan Western Ridge and Good Samaritan Outpatient Center in Glenway. The system’s research facility is TriHealth Hatton Institute.

Patient samples collected by TriHealth will be transported via air to PAML, with the majority of test results available within 24 to 48 hours. PAML’s scientists and technical experts are available for consultation regarding test selection, diagnostic problem solving and result interpretation.
